This work by ThinkTank has been published as part of the proceedings of the 5th Mathematics in Medicine Study Group.
Researchers at Oxford University were entering the prototyping phase for a new drug delivery device. The researchers were interested in optimising the drug delivery rate.
ThinkTank pre-prototyped many different versions of the device and discovered a flaw in the design that could lead to unpredictable doses being given to patients. We provided an optimal solution that gave reliable drug delivery rates.
